Hire Rates 2020

Booking time MUST include sufficient time for setting up before events and clearing up afterwards. The rooms may be let to another hirer up to the start time and from the finish times booked.

There is a discount of 20% available for multiple bookings of 6 or more sessions. To take advantage of this, all sessions must be booked and paid for at the time of the initial booking.

Members will be entitled to a 10% discount on bookings.

A multiple discount will not apply, the higher level of discount will always be selected.

There will be no kitchen charge if only used for tea/coffee preparation.

Community Hall and  Bar hire charges include tables and chairs for use in the hall, all heating and power costs.

Community Hall (Bi-Fold doors closed and excluding the bar)

The bar will be open for members and will not be available for hire over the weekend unless by prior arrangement.  However, the bar maybe hired on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesday at the directors discretion.

Hire of the Bar and Staff

If you require the club to open the bar and serve drinks, there will be an hourly charge to cover the staffing costs, unless the bar is already going to be open for members or you have hired the community room for ½ day, an evening or the whole day and stipulated at the time of booking you wish to have the bar open.

Changing Rooms

A set of changing rooms may be hired for £8 per hour for a minimum 2 hours. Pitch hire £40 

Use of the Kitchen

The kitchen may be hired for an event, the charge will be agreed with the hirer at the time of booking.

There will be a refundable deposit of £50 for hire of the kitchen.

Conditions Of Hire

  • lminster Sports Club Ltd, reserve the right to refuse booking or admission at their discretion.
  • Any external equipment required to fulfil the hire will be charged at cost.
  • Members may hire the function rooms with a 10% discount (a multiple discount will not apply, the higher level of discount is always be selected).
  • All catering and menu requirements must be made by arrangement with the Ilminster Sports Club Ltd.
  • Hirers wishing to supply their own wines etc will be liable to a corkage charge. (£4 /bottle)
  • The use of bubble/smoke machines in prohibited.
  • A refundable deposit of £200 is required on booking for events such as Proms, 18th & 21st Birthday parties and events where there will be.
  • Door staff will be required for events such as Proms, 18th & 21st Birthday parties, the door staff will be arranged by Ilminster Sports Club Ltd, the costs for door staff to be covered by Hirer. £15 + VAT per SIA per hour. One SIA for every 75 people (min of 2 staff). Please note that this price maybe subject to change and Ilminster Sports Club Ltd will pass any price increases one to the hirer.
  • Proof of age / Identification maybe requested at any time.
  • The pavilion operates a “No Smoking Policy” throughout the premises. Smokers must use the designated area and facility for discarding cigarettes.
  • The hirer is responsible for any breakages that may occur as a direct result of their booking.
  • The bar closes at 11:30, bar extensions to 2pm can be applied for on request. If approved, then Door Staff will need to be hired from 10:30 to 02:30am. These costs will need to be paid for by the Hirer.

If for any reason beyond its control, but not limited to strike, labour dispute, accident, act of war, act of God, fire, flood or other emergency condition, Ilminster Sports Club Ltd is unable to perform its obligations in connection with any booking, such as non-performance is excused and the Centre may terminate this contract without further liability of any nature, upon re-imbursement of any sums paid by You. In no event shall Ilminster Sports Club Ltd be liable for any consequential damages.
